The third Golden White released by Dalva after the iconic 52 and the stunning 63. The 71, with over 40 yo of cask aging is really impressive with aromas of candied orange, exotic resins, honey and a touch of nutmeg. Delicious and subtle in the mouth with a long and powerful aftertaste.
Roy Hersh 90 points: "Sunset orange color with a golden -amber edge. Evocative fragrances including pumpkin spice, leather, black tea and mandarin orange with a strong hot streak as well. The palate is even more pleasant than the wild nose, quite sweet except for an overwhelming sense of spirit which presents a hot middle and detracts from the finish too. Soft and light weight with sweet vibrant Satsuma, ginger and marmalade flavors, kept in check by tangy acidity leading to a medium-long finish."
