Made from Donzelinho, Viosinho, Malvasia and Gouveio grapes, this is one of the very few white Colheita available on the market. Decades of evaporation have concentrated this wine almost to an essence.
Dark amber-orange in color. Impressive by the huge freshness, elegance and aromatic complexity, with notes of white plums, cooked pear, spices, toasted almonds…In the mouth, it reveals an extreme sophistication and complexity, with a floral touch to join the fruit, remaining in the mouth for a very long time.
Due to the evaporation process that occurs during the conservation of the Tawnies, C. da Silva will soon bottle the last cask of Golden White 1952. This process is called the angels' share and removes about 2% of the cask content every year.
