Run by Pedro Araujo, Grand-son of Adriano Ramos Pinto, Quinta do Ameal produces very elegant wines with zesty acidity and fresh, salty minerality from very low yield vineyards.
The cool climate, tempered by the atlantic ocean, combined with a soil made purely of granite, offer to the wines an incredible focussed acidity with a low alcohol content. Over the years Quinta do Ameal has received extremely high reviews from wine critics.
